Directed Studies

Project: As, Not For: Dethroning Our Absolutes
I organized, art directed, and designed the exhibition in collaboration with BU SVA Graphic Design students through a directed study. The project encompassed research and design for the As, Not For exhibition, including 2D graphics, visual identity, social media, print design, spatial planning, and programming for the BU College of Fine Arts. I emphasize collaboration, process, and connecting students’ research interests to professional practice and real-world scenarios.

Project: Now What?! Advocacy, Activism & Alliances in American Architecture Since 1968
I collaborated with Jessie Rubenstein, graphic design faculty, to guide students through a directed study researching and designing the exhibition. Students engaged with the exhibition content, analyzed the Boston Society of Architects’ site, and proposed approaches for graphic and exhibition design, participatory installations, media, social media, and publication design, taking on individual roles and presenting their work to the curatorial and client team.
